我听到的全部文本如下:
Hi, It's Kasey-Dee Gardner and this weekend Why Tell Me Why we are gonna find out why your voice sounds different when you hear on recording. Here is your answer.
There are nine times out of ten when I talk to people about "Do they like the sound of their voice?", they say "no, no, no way do I like the sound of my voice. When we are speaking, we are hearing ourselves through the bones of our head, and we're also hearing ourselves through sound waves going into our ear. So we hear ourselves through bone conduction and also air conduction, but when we hear ourselves on the telephone recording, or on our cell phone if our calling leaves ourselves a message, now we're hearing ourselves only through air conduction. So sadly, that's the way we sound. So when I'm working with people and changing their voice, because it's an instrument and you can change it. I often have them cup their hands around their ears, so if I talk like this: "Hi, how are you? Now, I'm hearing myself. " "Through air conduction overriding the bone. And this is what I actually sound like. So people that I'm coaching, I'll ask them to, please, in the morning, start calibrating their voice, talking about their voice through their hands around their ears. So if I get nasal, then I can hear that "If I get kind of talk stupid, I can hear that too.", so, uh, you can really fine-tune your voice by cupping up your hands around your ears.
Thanks for watching Why?Tell Me Why?. Any other science related questions, please email me at whytellmewhy@discovery.com
