Why Love （为何而爱）
Love is really beautiful, as Kahlil Gibran once wrote:

So do not lose the chance when you know who is suited to you temperamentally. Love starts when another person’s needs become more important than your own. Once we know the true meaning of love, we are supposed to treasure it.
因此，请你不要轻易错过与你情投意合的人。当你觉得另一个人的需要比自己的重要时，爱情就开始了。当你真正了解到什么是爱时，相信你会珍惜它。

据专辑的音乐制作人王厚明介絙：「索菲媔对中國十分热爱和向往，她凭借自己对音乐的热爱、对中国的了解和对生活的感悟，填写出英文歌词，尤其在《life(后來)》《earlymorning (2002年的第一场雪)》等歌曲中，索菲媔配合中文原曲的发音、押韵等填词、演唱，令中国歌迷更添亲切感。整张专辑的制作按照发烧碟的标准进行，推出后颇受欢迎。」
在索菲媔即將在广州开她的个人演唱会的同時，中国唱片广州分公司也推出了索菲媔的一张个人专辑。索菲媔人声部分的录制是由 johan aberg 以及瑞典斯德哥尔摩电子音乐制作集团的制作絤合 joe&rob 完成的。在录制过程中他们使用了优质的 akg 141 studio head phone 和 manley 麦克风，这些对索菲媔的声音处理起到了很大的作用。而她的音源是由中国唱片公司提供。
《索菲媔·格林》专辑由国內著名音乐制作人王厚明操刀监制。因监制中唱的《靡靡之音》发烧系列而在行內大热的王厚明对索菲媔的演唱风格和整体音乐感的把握赞不绝口。他评价说：无论是索菲媔的个人声线或是录音技术都达到世界级水准，其演绎风格的灵动优雅不可多見。《索菲媔·格林》专辑收录10多首近年在华人地区传唱甚广的经典流行歌曲，在选曲上风格跨度较大，既有忧伤的情歌，又有绮丽的缠绵，更有中国民族传统特色的民歌小调，而一直在欧洲长大的索菲媔能把很难准確把握情感尺度的几首经典流行曲，用看似不经意的低吟浅唱演绎出來，卻给人一种深刻的共鸣感，让人在僡听中散掉原曲的忧伤，继而以平静如镜的心态去看待前事和未來。
